Theft charge: A criminal complaint was filed Friday in the court of District Judget Curtis Thompson against Kathleen Ondra, 54, of Eighty Four. She is charged with retail theft and failure to notify change in address in connection with an April 18 incident in Bentleyville Borough, according to court records, and is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
Canton
Possession-related charges: A criminal complaint was filed Friday in the court of District Judge David Mark against Christina Yumik Stivers, 36, of Avella on multiple charges related to an April 27 incident in Canton Township. According to court records, the charges are possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, turning without required signal and careless driving. She is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
Cecil
Multiple charges: A South Fayette Township man was taken to Washington County jail following his arrest Saturday in Cecil Township. Gerardo Agustin Mena-Caraballo, 26, was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a small amount of marijuana, failing to stop at a stop sign and operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility, according to court records. He was arraigned by District Judge Traci McDonald and faces an June 6 preliminary hearing before District Judge Jesse Pettit.
