Former Goldfish Swim School employee to stand trial for inappropriate contact with teens

A former employee of the Goldfish Swim School in Peters Township will stand trial for allegedly having sent explicit text messages to teenage girls.
Robert Neal Keller, 44, of 210 Cedar Hill Drive, Peters Township, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Tuesday on charges of interference with custody of children, corruption of minors, harassment and furnishing liquor to a minor.
The three victims referenced in court papers were present at District Judge Jesse Pettit’s courtroom Tuesday afternoon, prepared to testify.
According to the criminal complaint, Keller was heard making an inappropriate comment while working at the Goldfish Swim School when three girls were walking into the showers.
He later sent a sexually explicit text to a 16-year-old girl, according to the complaint.
The school terminated Keller’s employment when they learned he had “acted inappropriately in a sexual nature towards another employee,” according to regional manager Christine Palmer.
According to the complaint, Keller told police he believed the victim was “inhabited by the soul of a deceased former girlfriend.”
He allegedly invited the victim to his home, provided her with alcohol and investigated ways to have her emancipated from her parents.
Another 16-year-old girl accepted Keller’s invitations, according to the complaint. Keller is also accused of providing her with alcohol and asking her to send him photos of herself.
The complaint states that Keller also sent inappropriate messages to a 17-year-old girl, who rebuffed his alleged advances.
Keller is scheduled to be arraigned at 9:30 a.m. June 27.
