Assault alleged: Amanda L. McAuliffe, 44, of 308 Crest Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with simple assault and harassment over allegations she struck Jon McAuliffe in the face about 11:15 p.m. Tuesday in her residence, court records show. She is free on $7,500 bond set by District Judge Traci L. McDonald Kemp.
Man charged: Timothy Howard, 29, of 312 Broad Ave., North Belle Vernon, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with simple assault and harassment over allegations he grabbed Samantha Pearce from behind and forced her to the floor about 7:45 a.m. Wednesday at 1204 Lower Crest Ave., court records show. He is free on $10,000 bond set by District Judge Larry Hopkins.
Assaults alleged: Crystal Penny Cole, 37, of 827 Lincoln Ave., Charleroi, and Michael Chase Miller, 34, also of Charleroi, are charged by Charleroi Regional police with simple assault and harassment, court records show. Police accuse Miller of pushing Cole through a window and Cole of striking Miller in the face about 6:50 a.m. May 3 in Cole’s residence. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges Tuesday by summons.

Woman jailed: Cindy Marie Jay, 44, of 307 Second St., Vestaburg, is charged by city police with institutional vandalism and disorderly conduct, court records show. Police accuse Jay of using her shirt to plug a toilet and flood her holding cell in the city police department about 10 p.m. Wednesday. She was placed in Westmoreland County Jail on $5,000 bond.
Assault alleged: Andre L. Ward, 44, of 323 Delaware St., Monessen, is charged by city police with simple assault and disorderly conduct over allegations he punched a 14-year-old girl several times in the head in the 600 block of Rostraver Street about 9 p.m. Monday, court records show. A senior district judge released Ward on $25,000 unsecured bond Tuesday.
Theft alleged: Travis Lee Holmes, 34, of 420 Delaware St., Monessen, is charged by city police with theft and trespassing over allegations he was caught stealing kitchen cabinets from 711 Ninth St. about 4 p.m. Tuesday, court records show. A senior district judge issued the charges Wednesday in a summons.
Man charged: Mark Yarbrough, 33, of 501 Castner Ave., Donora, is charged by city police with giving an officer a false identity after being detained in connection with an argument about 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at 15 Columbus Drive, court records show. Police turned Yarbrough over to deputy sheriffs in Westmoreland County for processing on unrelated warrants.

Arson charges: Anthony Spano, 57, of 105 Sugar Run Road, Nottingham Township, was charged with arson, risking catastrophe, strangulation and simple assault by township police Monday. According to the criminal complaint, Spano intentionally set his pickup truck on fire Sunday evening. The gas tank exploded when firefighters were extinguishing the fire, and the truck was parked near a structure and railroad tracks. Spano also was accused of attempting to strangle a man before setting his truck on fire. Spano was incarcerated in Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. June 4 before District Judge Traci McDonald.

Theft alleged: Brendon Michael Kozolup, 38, of 350 Braddock Ave., Uniontown, is charged by Rostraver police with theft and receiving stolen property, court records show. Police accuse Kozolup of charging Jennifer Nusida $160 for mechanical work on her vehicle that was not necessary April 12 at a garage at 2113 Route 136. A senior district judge issued the charges Wednesday in a summons.
