Firefighters battle a fire in Donora Saturday night.

No one was injured during a fire that damaged the upper part of a house in Donora late Saturday.

Officials said the fire was reported before 9 p.m. Everyone inside was able to escape from the building near the junction of Sixth Street and Allen Avenue.

Monessen Hilltop Volunteer Fire Company said on Facebook that its members and their counterparts from the city’s Fire Department No. 1 were dispatched to help Donora firefighters handling the situation.

Units cleared the scene and left by midnight.
