FRANKLIN

Assault alleged: Joshua Ryan Skelton, 31, of North Liberty Street, Franklin Township, was charged with simple assault and harassment by state police Saturday. According to the criminal complaint, Skelton hit his wife and son at his residence shortly after midnight on Saturday. Skelton was released after posting $5,000 bond through a professional bondsman.
