Washington woman dies of overdose in Pittsburgh

A Washington woman who was found dead in Pittsburgh in September died of an accidental drug overdose, the Allegheny County medical examiner said Tuesday.

Elisha Chanel Stanley, 46, died Sept. 16 of a combined poisoning of fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol, the office of Chief Medical Examiner Karl Williams said.

Stanley’s body was discovered that day about 6:10 p.m. in the 1000 block of Penn Avenue. She was pronounced dead at the scene 23 minutes later, Williams said in a news release.
