Holbrook woman killed in two vehicle accident
A Holbrook woman died Monday morning following a collision in Morris Township, Washington County.
A pickup driven by Tammy Lynn Householder, 35, and a van driven by a Uniontown man crashed in the 5700 block of Route 18 about 7:30 a.m., authorities said.
State police said Householder was driving south on the state highway when she swerved her Toyota Tacoma into the opposite lane, “subsequently turning on its right side.”
She then “re-entered the right lane and collided” with a Ford Transit driven by John Dukeman, 49.
Householder was pronounced dead at 9:12 a.m. The Washington County coroner’s office said she was not wearing her seat belt.
The cause and manner of her death are pending an autopsy.
Washington County Ambulance and Chair and Morris Township and South Franklin Township fire departments assisted state police, who are investigating.
