Assault alleged: Leland Kailene Sullivan, 29, of 212 Locust St., Cecil Township, was charged with simple assault by state police Sunday. According to the criminal complaint, Sullivan hit her boyfriend in the nose Sunday morning. She was released from custody after posting her $2,500 bond set by District Judge David Mark.
CHARLEROI
Man charged: Irvin Kili Green Jr., 23, of 901 Meadow Ave., Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with loitering, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and harassment stemming from a disturbance about 11:15 p.m. Thursday in the 10 block of Round Street, court records show. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges Friday in a summons.
CHARTIERS
Man jailed: Mark Brigich, 56, of 90 Johnston Hill Road, Chartiers Township, was charged with reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct by state police Saturday. According to the criminal complaint, Brigich pointed a handgun at Maureen McCormick and James Gazvoda at his residence just before 7 p.m. Saturday. He was placed in the Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge David Mark.
FALLOWFIELD
Fleeing from police: Stefan Charles Sweeney, 31, of 347 Ridge Ave., Monessen, is charged by state police with fleeing or attempting to elude, marijuana possession and string of traffic citations, court records show. Sweeney is accusing of fleeing an attempted traffic stop on Interstate 70 east about 3 p.m. Friday, leading police to his mother’s residence about 15 minutes later. He is free on $10,000 bond set by District Judge David Mark.
PETERS
Assault alleged: William Moran Andersen, 38, of Molly Drive, Peters Township, was charged with simple assault and harassment by township police Saturday. According to the criminal complaint, Andersen’s wife had yelled at him for driving home drunk from a Halloween Party and and slapped him. Police said he then pushed her down by the neck. He was released from custody after posting his $5,000 bond set by District Judge David Mark.
ROSTRAVER
Drug charge: Barbara McClelland, 36, of 456 Rankin Road, Rostraver, is charged by township police with carrying a firearm without a license and drug possession, court records show. Police approached her vehicle parked on the Webster boat launch, an isolated area known for drug activity, and claimed she had 81 morphine pills and a handgun about 1 p.m. Oct. 8. A senior district judge issued the charges Thursday in a summons.
Man wanted: Justice Jabri Tartt, 23, of 1008 Rostraver St., Monesen, is charged by Rostraver police with access device fraud, theft and receiving stolen property, court records show. Tartt is accused of using a stolen banking card to make $466 in purchases from a video gaming store about 3:15 p.m. Oct. 8. A senior district judge signed a warrant last week for Tartt’s arrest.
Drug charges: James Arthur Barnhart II, 39, of Jeannette, is charged by Rostraver police with possessing crack and heroin stemming from a traffic stop about 6 p.m. Oct. 4 at Route 3013 and Patton Road, court records show. A senior district judge issued the charges Thursday in a summons.
WEST FINLEY
Theft: Deryk Lee Ewing, 27, of Blockhouse Road, Claysville, was charged with forgery, identity theft, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and access device fraud by state police Saturday. According tot he criminal complaint, Ewing used his grandmother’s debit card more than 30 times between July 26 and Sept. 17 and withdrew more than $6,100. Ewing was placed in the Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge David Mark.
