Bulger man killed in ATV crash

A Bulger man was killed Sunday morning when he was thrown from an ATV during a crash near Candor Road, according to the county coroner’s office.

Zachary T. VanVoorhis was pronounced dead at 3:56 a.m. His ATV failed to negotiate curve at around 2:30 a.m. While losing control, VanVoorhis was thrown from the vehicle. He was not wearing a helmet.

Fort Cherry Ambulance and fire departments from McDonald and Midway assisted at the scene.

McDonald Police are investigating.
