Marianna to dedicate historic marker

The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, in conjunction with the Marianna Community Public Library and Marianna Borough will dedicate a state historical marker commemorating the Marianna Mine explosion of 1908. The dedication will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the corner of Beeson Avenue and Mineyard Road in Marianna.

Refreshments will follow at the Marianna library from noon to 3 p.m.
