Man jailed: Gerald Edward Mitchell, 65, of 660 Braddock Ave., Monessen, is charged by city police with simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, court records show. Police accuse Mitchell of pushing Tonya Coles into a corner about 7:30 p.m. Monday at his residence. He is in Westmoreland County jail on $10,000 bond.
