Water to be shut off in Jefferson area, Greene County

Southwestern Pennsylvania Water Authority of Jefferson, Greene County, plans to upgrade the system and shut off service between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Thursday on Jacobs Ferry Road from Tin Can Hollow to Patterson roads.
Because customers may experience low water pressure or no service, the authority is asking them to fill containers of water in advance to minimize the inconvenience.
If there is inclement weather on Thursday, the alternate day to perform the work will be Friday.
