Assault alleged: Luke Kenneth Crawford, 21, of 169 W. Main St., Monongahela, is charged by city police with simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment, court records show. Police accuse Crawford of grabbing Shelly Abel by the neck and throwing her to the floor while she held a baby in their residence about 1:45 a.m. Thursday. He is free on $5,000 bond set by District Judge James Saieva Jr.
