Boater charged: Christopher P. Ciez, 29, of 144 Darr Road, Rostraver Township, is charged by the state Fish and Boat Commission with operating a motor craft while under the influence of alcohol and reckless and negligent operation of a water craft, court records show. Officers charged Ciez after allegedly witnessing him struggling to get a pontoon boat on to a trailer at a public boat launch about 8:30 p.m. Sept. 6. The charges were filed Thursday before District Judge Eric Glenn Porter.
