Weekend closure planned on Fort Cherry Road

Fort Cherry Road will be closed between Noblestown Road and Skyview Lane beginning at 8 p.m. today because of Southern Beltway construction, according to a Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission news release.

This section of Noblestown Road, which falls within Robinson and Mt. Pleasant townships, will be serviced by a 10-mile detour directing traffic around the closure, which will be in effect until 5 a.m., Sept. 14, the news release said.
