Avella man dies in motorcycle crash

An Avella man died Monday after his motorcycle collided with an oncoming vehicle in his hometown area.
Washington County Coroner Tim Warco said Chester Lesjak, 43, was pronounced dead at 2:47 p.m. following the collision on Meadowcroft Road.
Lesjak was not wearing a helmet at the time of the 1:40 p.m. accident, Warco said.
State police did not release a report on the crash Monday night.
The cause and manner of Lesjak’s death were pending an investigation, Warco’s office said.
