Former Hopewell Township supervisor violated state Ethics Act
A former Hopewell Township supervisor violated two sections of the state Ethic’s Act when he served from 2016 to 2018, the state ethics commission announced Tuesday.
The commission ordered Ronald Brandenburg to pay $500 to the state for voting to hire his daughter as township secretary/treasurer in 2017 and her subsequent salary increases, the record states.
Brandenburg failed to include the township as a source of income on his Statements of Financial Interests, the commission determined.
