U.S. Marine Corps veteran Stan Kengor accepts a certificate and token of appreciation from principal Eric Lauver on behalf of Trinity North Elementary School Thursday afternoon. Kengor, his wife, Kathy, and their daughter-in-law Amy enjoyed the elementary school Veterans Day program at American Legion Post 175. The Marine Corps vet hasn’t missed one program since his grandchildren entered elementary school.

This year, because of COVID-19, the event was filmed in advance, with a viewing party at American Legion Post 175 in Washington Thursday afternoon.
