Wilson, who enjoys riding on the Youghiogheny River trail at Ohiopyle, considered pedaling in Pittsburgh before opting to hit a section of the Montour.

Jim Stark, left, of Fayette City, and John Wilson, right, of Deer Lake, both in Fayette County, took advantage of Thursday’s temperatures, which reached the high 60s, and began a bike ride on the Montour Trail near Tandem Connection, at mile 27.1 in Hendersonville. Cyclists, runners and walkers flocked to the trail to enjoy the warm temperatures and the beautiful autumn scenery.
