One flown from Interstate 70 accident

One person was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital from a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 Tuesday morning that temporarily shut down the eastbound lanes.

According to a Washington County 911 supervisor, the accident occurred about 10:10 a.m. near the Taylorstown exit in Buffalo Township.

The interstate was shut down until about 10:45 a.m., according to 911.

One person was flown from the scene via helicopter. State police, Claysville Fire Department, and Ambulance and Chair responded.
