Fun at the farmers market

David Sciulli and his son, Max, were hard at work serving visitors to a recent Canonsburg’s Farmers Market. The Sciullis opened their Star Wars-themed food truck Old Ben’s Cantina earlier this year and have enjoyed parking at local farmers markets events during the summer.

Avery Egan enjoys funnel cake and lemonade from a food stand at the Canonsburg Farmers Market on a recent Tuesday. Egan, who recently celebrated her fourth birthday, and her mom, Judith Maucieri, spend most Tuesday evenings together at the market.

There’s still plenty of summer left to enjoy the Canonsburg Farmers Market, held from 3 to 7 p.m. every Tuesday in St. Patrick’s Church parking lot through Oct. 12.
