First responders lined Main Street in downtown Washington on Friday as the funeral procession for EMT Rodney Lee Rohrer passed through. Rohrer died Sept. 5 at the age of 66. Rohrer began working for Washington’s Ambulance & Chair Service in 1977 as a part-time EMT. He became the operations manager in 1996, and held that job until he retired in April 2020.
