Ashlynn Mankey, of Amity, has shown cattle nationally, but this year marks her first foray into the market lamb show. Mankey, who belongs to the Ten Mile 4-H club, prepped her lamb Vegas Monday afternoon for the duo’s Wednesday showing.

Kelly Philipps, of Washington, has attended the fair every year since she was a kid. Philipps and her daughter, Alayna, 2, admired the sheep and other livestock Monday afternoon.

Locals and visitors admired livestock, kids of all ages buckled into colorful rides and competitors took the stage Monday at the Washington County Fair. The fun continues at the fairgrounds through Saturday.
