Fire crews respond to burning garbage trucks in Chartiers Township
Chartiers Township Fire Department responded to a pair of burning garbage trucks Thursday night.
According to the fire department, two Waste Management trucks caught fire at the company’s landfill at Rangos Lane about 8 p.m.
One truck was engulfed in flames and destroyed. Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire in the other truck.
The fire department is not aware of what started the fires.
No injuries were reported.
