Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has started nighttime single-lane restriction on eastbound Interstate 70 in South Strabane Township, Washington County.

The restrictions are in place from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Saturday, Nov. 18 between the southbound Interstate 79 on ramp, onto eastbound I-70 and the Exit 19 (Route 19/Murtland Avenue) off ramp.

Crews from Green Acres/Swank will be stabilizing concrete slabs in the center lane – an investment of $380,000. Operations are dependent upon weather conditions.

Motorists are asked to exercise caution during night work and while approaching the work zone.
