Rep. Tim O’Neal (R-Washington) will co-host a Seniors for Safe Driving seminar on Oct. 12 to help mature drivers sharpen their skills.

The PennDOT-approved program will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at South Strabane Volunteer Fire Department Station 2, 172 Oak Spring Road, Washington. A free lunch will be provided.

By taking the course, participants will learn about current road rules, defensive driving techniques and how to operate their vehicle safely in today’s increasingly challenging driving environment. No on-the-road driving or classroom testing will occur.

The cost to attend is $16, paid directly to Seniors for Safe Driving, and participants receive a 5% discount on their auto insurance premiums for three years. To register, please call 1-800-559-4880 or visit RepOneal.com/events. For additional information, call O’Neal’s district office at 724-223-4541.
