State police arrest 15-year-old with handgun

State police arrested a 15-year-old male Tuesday after he was accused of walking into a Washington Ambulance and Chair building with a firearm.

According to police, the incident occurred at a garage on West Chestnut Street in Canton Township shortly before 8 p.m.

When troopers arrived, three people there had already restrained the juvenile.

Police said he had a loaded 9mm handgun in his possession. He will be charged with multiple firearms violations and terroristic threats.

According to police, he was transferred to juvenile probation.
