Route 519 railroad crossing in Houston to close
The railroad crossing on Route 519 (South Main Street) between Boone Avenue and Collier Street in Houston will be replaced, PennDOT announced.
This segment of Route 519 (South Main Street) is scheduled to be closed from Thursday until Oct. 31. A detour will be in place utilizing Route 519, West Pike Street, Racetrack Road, Interstate 79 and Route 519.
Crews from Kennedy Railroad Services, a contractor for The Pittsburgh & Ohio Central Railroad, will be performing the work.
This notice is being issued as a public service announcement. This is not a PennDOT project.
