W&J recognized by national publications

Washington & Jefferson College has been recognized by national publications such as The Wall Street Journal and U.S. News & World Report for exceptional quality and value.
W&J was ranked No. 105 on the Wall Street Journal’s list of “Best Colleges in the U.S.” It also ranked W&J at or near the top 15% for salary impact (No. 67) and social mobility (No. 60).
Also, the college was ranked No. 89 in the U.S. News & World Report’s annual list of “Best National Liberal Arts Colleges.” The publication also ranked W&J 48th on its list of “50 Value Colleges” and No. 90 in social mobility.
Other rankings for W&J include being listed among the Top 10 liberal arts institutions nationwide in Washington Monthly, a No. 3 ranking by Niche on its list of 2024 “Best Value Colleges in the Pittsburgh Area,” and a Top 25 spot on College Raptor’s national list of “Most Affordable Hidden Gem Colleges for the Middle Class.”
