The festival celebrated Italian heritage with plenty of food, wine, music, vendors, and dance. The festival was one of several events held in Washington County on the first official day of autumn. 

Autumn officially began on Saturday, and fans of fall celebrated the autumnal equinox by taking part in a variety of festivities in Washington County. Despite overcast skies and light rain, visitors flocked to the Italian Festival in downtown Washington and celebrated all things pumpkin and apple at Trax Farms and Simmons Farm.
