More than 1,000 degrees were awarded to graduates of the three Pennsylvania Western University campuses (California, Edinboro and Clarion) Saturday as part of fall commencement ceremonies. Dr. Brenda Fredette, dean of the College of Science, Technology and Business, served as master of ceremonies at PennWest California. Linda Takash, of Uniontown, was the student speaker at PennWest California, where she has worked for 18 years, currently as interim acting manager of Global Online.
