A Greene County man is accused of molesting a 12-year-old girl at his Jefferson Township home over the summer.

Devin Michael Rebold, 31, was charged by state police Monday and accused of fondling the girl while she was at his Fourth Street house in June and again in August, according to court documents.

Police were alerted to the situation in early September and interviewed the girl later that month, when she told them of the alleged abuse.

Rebold is facing felony charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, aggravated indecent assault of a person less than 13 and simple assault, along with two misdemeanor counts of harassment.

He had not been arraigned as of Wednesday morning on the charges, which were filed at the office of District Judge Glenn Bates.
