An Ohio man and three children were hospitalized Sunday afternoon after a rollover crash on Interstate 79 in Amwell Township.

State police said the accident occurred near the 24.5 mile marker shortly after 3:30 p.m. when the vehicle driven by Joshua Hill, 39, of Columbiana, Ohio, was cut off by another car. Hill lost control of the vehicle and hit an embankment and overturned, police said.

An unidentified woman was in the passenger seat and three children were in the backseat. Hill and an infant child were flown to Pittsburgh hospitals with unspecified injuries. The other two children were taken by ambulance to UPMC Children’s Hospital.

Police said the driver that cut off Hill’s vehicle did not stop and continued driving north on I-79.

Amwell Township Fire Department, Lone Pine Fire Department and Washington Ambulance and Chair also responded to the scene. State police continue to investigate.
