Two Uniontown area events offered Easter meals for those in need over the weekend.
On Saturday, the holiday meals made by Ellie and Enzo Carei were distributed or delivered to people throughout the area. The siblings served more than 300 people.
On Sunday, Annie Martin and Joshua DeGusipe, who run DeGusipe Real Estate, served meals to those in need at Oak Pizza in Uniontown.
It was the first year for the event, and Martin said any leftovers after the dine-in or take-out service would be taken to area homeless shelters or distributed to others in need.
“It’s not going to go to waste at all,” she said.
