BehaviorWorx Center for Autism & Behavior is presenting a training session in holistic approaches to autism, ADHD and behavior.

The event, which is being hosted by Mid-Mon Valley Rotary Clubs, is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 24 at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital, 1163 Country Club Road, Monongahela, in the Anthony M. Lombardi Education Conference Center.

“This is really to talk about some of the lesser-known problems that are ongoing with a lot of kids that have medical issues with autism, ADHD and behavioral concerns,” explained Dr. Kristan Weisdack, founder and CEO of BehaviorWorx of Southwestern Pennsylvania. “It’s helping parents understand how nutrition and gut issues and vision issues are playing an ongoing role in creating behavioral problems. Not a lot of providers are asking the right questions at the beginning of working with a child or an adult.”
