One injured in ATV accident

A man was flown to Pittsburgh Sunday evening after crashing an all-terrain vehicle in South Strabane Township.

According to the South Strabane Fire Department, the accident occurred at about 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Vance Station Road and Lakeview Drive. When first responders arrived, the man was unconscious and stuck under the ATV.

He was taken by helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital, where he was in critical condition Monday, according to South Strabane fire Chief Jordan Cramer. Cramer did not identify the man.

Also responding were North Strabane Fire Department and Ambulance and Chair.
