Catching rays, not trout

Bill Kennedy and his 10-year-old son, Waylon, both of Daisytown, took advantage of the sunshine and warm weather late Tuesday afternoon to go fishing in Pike Run in California, although the trout apparently weren’t biting. “It hasn’t been a good day,” Kennedy said of the number of fish they caught. Saturday was the first day of trout season in Pennsylvania.
