More than 70 brave souls took the frigid plunge into the 41-degree waters of the Monongahela River at the Coal Center wharf during the 11th annual Frosty Frolic. The fundraiser for the California Area School District Foundation, which helps provide scholarships to high school students, raised about $10,000 during the event Saturday afternoon that also included a costume contest.
