One injured in West Pike Run Township crash

One person was injured in an early morning crash Monday that shut down part of a road in West Pike Run Township.

According to Washington County 911, the accident occurred at about 3:15 a.m. in the 800 block of Beallsville Road and resulted in downed power lines.

State police from Belle Vernon, along with Bentleyville and Richeyville fire departments, responded to the accident.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to a Pittsburgh hospital.

By mid-morning, the road was reopened, according to the 911 center.
