Former Washington man indicted on drug charges

A man formerly from Washington was indicted in federal court Tuesday on drug charges.

According to the Department of Justice, Matthew Clark, 40, is accused of being in possession of and intending to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine.

Clark has previous felony convictions for drug trafficking and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Because of his prior criminal history, Clark faces no fewer than 10 years in prison, according to the DOJ.
