Bethlehem Center School District bus involved in accident

A Bethlehem Center School District bus was rear ended by another vehicle Thursday morning.
According to state police, the accident occurred shortly after 8:40 a.m. on Beallsville Road. The bus was stopped at the time. Police said after the vehicle struck the bus, it went off the road and hit a tombstone and then a house in the 2300 block of Beallsville Road.
According to police, the driver will be charged for following too closely, but he was not identified. Police said he was transported to Washington Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
In a letter to parents. Bethlehem Center Superintendent Donald MacFann wrote that no students were physically injured, but all of them were taken to Washington Hospital for evaluation as a precaution.
