COKEBURG
Theft: Francis N. Falcon, 41, of Washington, is charged by state police with felonies of burglary and theft by unlawful taking. According to the criminal complaint, the morning of Sept. 17 Falcon and Timothy Work entered a home in the 100 block of Lincoln Street and stole about $20,000 of property, mostly tools and firearms. Work, 33, of Marianna, was charged soon after and is awaiting trial. Falcon was arraigned Tuesday morning before District Judge Curtis Thompson, who released him on $50,000 unsecured bond.
EAST WASHINGTON
Assault alleged: Nicole Richmond, 38, of East Washington, is charged by East Washington police with aggravated assault, disarming a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. According to the criminal complaint, police were called to Richmond’s apartment in the 50 block of North Avenue shortly after 5:30 pm. Feb. 29 to transport her to Washington Hospital for a mental health evaluation. Police said Richmond attempted to punch East Washington police Chief Timothy Kreger and bit one of his fingers. Court documents also accuse Richmond of unsnapping the security hood of Kreger’s holster, which allowed easy access to his firearm. Richmond has not been arraigned on the charges.
