State police arrested a man Sunday for allegedly assaulting another man in East Bethlehem Township.

Timothy James Swarrow, 49, of Brownsville, faces felony charges of aggravated assault and criminal mischief.

Police were called to the 100 block of Ark Avenue at about 5:20 p.m. Sunday. According to the criminal complaint, Swarrow had followed the man home and crashed into a motorcycle parked in his driveway.

Swarrow is accused of getting out of his vehicle and dragging the man to the ground, slamming his head against concrete and choking him. Security footage corroborates the alleged victim’s story, according to police.

Swarrow was arraigned Sunday night before District Judge Joshua Kanalis, who sent him to the Washington County jail without bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. June 5.
