Assault alleged: Lance Chacko, 41, of Monongahela, is charged by Monongahela police with misdemeanors of endangering the welfare of children and simple assault. At about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to Chacko’s home in the 100 block of Factory Street. According to the criminal complaint, he threw a drill driver toward a woman and a juvenile child. District Judge John Bruner sent him to the Washington County jail on $150,000 bond.

Drug charges: Clinton Webb, 32, of Clairton, is charged by Monongahela police with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communication facility and endangering the welfare of children. According to the criminal complaint, In the past month Webb arranged twice to sell cocaine to a confidential informant. Police served a search warrant Tuesday morning at Webb’s residence in the 20 block of McChain Road and found cocaine and “large amounts” of cash, court documents state. Police said three children were in the home at the time. District Judge Phillippe Melograne sent Webb to the Washington County jail on $100,000 bond.

WASHINGTON

Gun possession: Anthony James Ward, 22, of Washington, is charged by Washington police with prohibited possession of a firearm, flight to avoid apprehension and carrying a firearm without a license. According to the criminal complaint, police were called to the 400 block of Second Street at about 1 p.m. Tuesday because Ward was standing on the back porch of a home with a handgun and refusing to leave. He fled on foot when police arrived, but was soon taken into custody. District Judge John Bruner sent Ward to the Washington County jail on $150,000 bond.
