Despite heavy rains on Saturday and Sunday, thousands gathered at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows for the Greater Pittsburgh Food Truck Festival, an Observer-Reporter event. Friday was Family Fun Night with wiener dog races, character meet-and-greets and other kids activities. Live music set the mood on Saturday and Sunday. Over 50 food trucks offered various options to suit any taste. New this year was the Flavor Fave contest, where attendees could vote on their favorite truck. Sinkers and Suds took first place, Patti’s Pastries came in second, and Forlini’s Kitchen rounded out the top three.
