Betty M. Lanoy, 89, of Washington, formerly of Patton, passed away Friday, November 30, 2012, in Washington Hospital.

She was born February 21, 1923, in Patton, a daughter of Fred and Melina Ramey Bailey.

Also deceased are her husband, Arthur Lanoy; sister Dorothy Lawson; and brothers Reese and Don Bailey.

Surviving are sons Rick (Anita) Lanoy of Washington and Artie (Trish) Lanoy of Canada; grandchildren Lauren (Jason) Hathaway, Stephanie (Justin) Whitehouse, Christopher (Lyzette) Lanoy and Ryan Lanoy and Cody; great-grandchildren Kaden and Karson Hathaway and Grayson Whitehouse; brother Ken Bailey; sister Woody Mackall; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Lanoy was a graduate of Patton High School.

She was retired from Cambria Heights School District, where she worked in the cafeteria. She also had been employed at the former Van Husen shirt factory in Patton.

Mrs. Lanoy enjoyed spending time with her family.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 10 to 11 a.m., the time of service, Tuesday, December 3, in Stevens Funeral Home Inc., 1004 North Fifth Avenue, Patton. Private interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Patton.
