Lucille A. Brezinski Luba, 92, of Canonsburg, died Sunday, December 2, 2012, in TownView Health and Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg.
She was born May 18, 1920, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Paul and Stella Sekula.
Mrs. Luba was a lifelong resident of Canonsburg, where she was a member of St. Patrick Parish and a former member of St. Genevieve Church, where she was active with Christian Mothers and Guild, Rosary Society and Catholic Golden Age. She was a member of Canonsburg Senior Citizens. She previously was employed at McCrory’s 5 & 10, Alcoa and RCA.
Surviving are two sons, Dennis W. Luba of Eighty Four and Mark Douglas Luba of Plymouth Meeting; a daughter, Cynthia Luba of Canonsburg; a sister, Sister Mary Cantalice of Coraopolis; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her husband, Alfred M. Luba; a son, Alfred Marcel Luba; three brothers, Anthony, Bill and Joseph Berzinsky; and two sisters, Sophia Szalanski and Sally Tonsetic.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Sollon Funeral Home Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director. Departing prayers will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, December 6, in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Canonsburg.
