Samuel Clyde Woodburn

Samuel Clyde Woodburn, 82, of Washington, died Friday, December 14, 2012, in his home, following a one-year illness.

He was born July 4, 1930, in Claysville, a son of the late John Thomas and Irene Lyle Woodburn.

Mr. Woodburn was a steelworker at Washington Steel for 34 years, retiring in January 1986.

On August 18, 1950, he married Anna Marie Klick, who survives.

Also surviving is a brother, Cecil Franklin Woodburn of Cleveland, Ohio.

Deceased are three brothers, Ray, John and LeRoy Woodburn, and four sisters, Pauline and Nelrose Woodburn, Everly McLaughlin and Sara J. Gump.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 18.
