Anthony D. Cisson

Anthony D. Cisson, 88, died at 3:23 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2012, in University Hospital, Las Vegas, Nev.

He was born October 26, 1924, in Canonsburg, a son of Nicholas and Julia Montagna Cisson.

Mr. Cisson worked as a crane operator for 42 years at U.S. Steel, Irvin Works. Upon his retirement, he moved to Las Vegas.

He served in the U.S. Army in World War II as a chaplain assistant.

Mr. Cisson was an avid Steelers fan and liked to be a handyman around the house.

On Spetember 29, 1945, he married Elvera DiYenno, who passed away July 15, 2001.

Surviving are two sons, Kenneth (Sherry) of Houston and Dale of Las Vegas; two daughters, Diane Lombardo of Las Vegas and Kimberly (Dale) Faust of Neville Island; five grandsons, Kirt (Carri) Cisson and Jason (April) Cisson, Anthony and Dean Lombardo and Tyler Faust; and three great-granddaughters, Tesa Danieley, Hailey and Ali Cisson.

Deceased, in addition to his wife, are two brothers, Albert and Dominick Cisson and two sisters, Mary Cornell and Elvira Matalik, an infant sister; and granddaughter, Rachel Faust.

Mr. Cisson was the last of his immediate family.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 22, at Affordable Cremations and Burial Funeral Home in Las Vegas.
