H. Edith Creps

H. Edith Creps, 91, of Langeloth, passed away Tuesday morning, December 18, 2012. in Washington County Health Center, Chartiers Township.

She was born November 6, 1921, in Burgettstown, a daughter of the late William A. and Stella Jusevich Muskovich.

Mrs. Creps was a Class of 1941 graduate of Union High School, Burgettstown, and was employed by the Burgettstown Post Office for 17 years as a clerk and letter carrier.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Burgettstown, a member of the Eldersville Historical Society and the Burgettstown Senior Citizens Association.

On July 5, 1945, she married Richard H. Creps Sr., who died March 24, 1984.

Surviving are a son, David C. Creps and wife Helen of Perrysburg, Ohio; a daughter, Audrey Yandrich and husband Edward of Atlasburg; six grandchildren, April Yandrich, Amanda, Chad, Sonny, Kristen and Richard Creps III; three great-grandchildren, Richmond, Richart and Hayden Creps; a daughter-in-law, Rita Creps of Burgettstown; a brother, Henry Muskovich of Aliquippa; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceeding her in death, in addition to her parents and husband, are a son, Richard Creps Jr.; a grandson, Edward “Petey” Yandrich; two brothers, Edward and Felix Muskovich; and a sister, Brancia “Brinky” Kucic.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Lee & Martin Funeral, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, December 21, in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. George Moneck, Pastor, as celebrant. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Burgettstown. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O.
